Optical Fibre Trends (OFT) is an optic fibre company in Gauteng that started out as an optic fibre solutions provider to the mining sector in 2001. From there, our optic fibre company then expanded to supply other communications solutions and ultimately various optic fibre market segments including airports, metro and railway, highways, municipalities, power utilities and private networks.
These developments led to our company becoming an official partner, system integrator and accredited installer for various Industrial rated switches and backbone equipment. We are classified as a Small Micro Medium Enterprise (SMME) as well as a BBBEE Level 2 company and endeavour to support transformation in current business projects.
We provide many services such as consulting, conceptual system design, detail system design, engineering, product supply, installation, commissioning, quality management, training, system support, project management and maintenance & service. We offer expert advice and solutions on network and fibre as well as many years of experience in backbone networking equipment for industrial markets.
OFT is an official direct OEM Partner of OTN Systems in Belgium and also maintain longstanding and direct relationships with Korenix, Sonabeam and CBI cables amongst others. We offer vast experience in successfully executing and concluding projects from tender phase to final handover as well as providing continuous support.
