ERB – Forfar

OFT supplied and installed 8 patch leads at Forfar. The patch leads were pulled in from the switches to the patch panel and all tested 100%.

ERB Technologies was established in July, 2001. ERB Technologies is a dynamic company employing a team of motivated and dedicated employees, each of whom is a specialist in their respective fields. ERB delivers superior products and services to the Railway Signalling industry.

Initially, only products were manufactured but a projects division was established in 2003 for the Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Railway Signalling Equipment and Systems.

ERB further progressed to Maintenance of Railway Signalling Systems.

ERB’s Product Engineering and Development department is responsible for continuous enterprise level competitiveness and enhancement.

Nettek – AECOM

Centurion Site - Optical  Fibre Trends  was responsible for the installation of  a sound system at AECOM  in one of their boardrooms . 6 speakers and 1amplifier was installed.

 

Sandton site – At this site we installed 3 screens , 3 projectors  and moved a polycom telephone from one boardroom to another.

114 network points  were removed from all PC’s and stored under ground in data boxes, this was done to protect the network points as new desks were going to be moved in.

Upcoming Projects

ACSA – ILS/AWOS

 

The ILS/AWOS project will start the second week in March 2016. For this project a new AWOS system will be installed. All fibre cable will also be replaced with new fibre cable.

 

What is AWOS?

An Automated Weather Observing System, or AWOS, as defined by the FAA, is a suite of weather sensors, which measure, collect and disseminate weather data to help meteorologists, pilots and flight dispatchers prepare and monitor weather forecasts, plan flight routes, and provide necessary information for correct take-offs and landings.
